With a glance back to the queens of polished presentation—Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn and other flawless femmes—designers are reveling in spotless appearances. From the wardrobe (pearls, clean lines, subtle palettes) to the home (the rebirth of resort chic) to the office (white binders and tidy storage), high-maintenance is in. Of course, keeping up appearances may be a bit harder. But now on those less-then-perfect days, we've got a decent excuse to stay in bed. | |||
